Jeffrey Chin

MAJ Jeffrey Chin has taught Chemistry and Chemical Engineering at the United States Military Academy (USMA) for 1.5 years, and is the assistant Course Director for CH101, General Chemistry. MAJ Chin Graduated from West Point in 2010 with a B.S. in Chemical Engineering. Upon completing Engineer Officer Leadership Course he served for 18 months as a Sapper Platoon Leader (including one deployment to Iraq and one deployment to Afghanistan). Following Airborne School and Engineer Captain’s Career Course he commanded an Engineer Clearance Company in Texas, deploying once to Afghanistan. Upon relinquishing command Jeff began his graduate studies at the University of Washington, Seattle where he earned a M.S. in Chemical Engineering working in Professor Hugh Hillhouse's lab on low cost thin film photovoltaic device fabrication.
