Jeffrey M. Ting
Jeffrey M. Ting is a graduate student pursing a doctorate degree in chemical engineering at the University of Minnesota under the guidance of Dr. Frank S. Bates and Dr. Theresa M. Reineke. He is interested in exploring fundamental structure-property relationships between polymers and small molecules in the area of oral drug delivery. To this end, he has developed skills in polymer chemistry and pharmaceutical science, such as conducting controlled polymerization, drug formulation, and in vitro dissolution testing and drug release studies. Jeffrey is a recipient of the National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship Program (GRFP) Fellowship, University of Minnesota Doctoral Dissertation Fellowship, and the L.E. and D.H. Scriven Fellowship. Outside of work, he enjoys being active by swimming and training for marathons. Jeffrey grew up close to Houston, Texas and received his Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering with high honors from the University of Texas at Austin in 2011.
