Jens Metzger

During his studies in Process Engineering (DHBW Mosbach and University of Stuttgart, Germany), Jens Metzger worked on various research projects elucidating granular flow situations such as dense phase pneumatic conveying, material discharge from hoppers, and aerodynamic particle resuspension from walls. This way he became passionate about granular materials and joined Christoph Müller's research group at ETH Zurich as a PhD student in 2020. His current field of research is the investigation of granular phenomena such as fluidization and segregation.
