Jérôme Taveau is Scientific Advisor at Fike Corporation where he works towards the understanding of industrial explosions and the development of protection solutions for the process industries. Prior to joining Fike Corporation, Jérôme has conducted risk assessment and consequence modeling studies for the aerospace, explosives, nuclear, chemical and oil & gas sectors. Jérôme is a Senior Member of AIChE and a Director of the Safety & Health Division. He is a certified process safety and explosion professional (CCPSC, CFEI, CFII, CFLACS). He is also a member of ASTM E27 “Hazard Potential of Chemicals” and NFPA combustible dust committees. Jérôme received a Bachelor of Science in Engineering, a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering, and a Master of Science in Process Safety. He is currently finishing his PhD in Combustion & Fluid Dynamics.
