Jialin Qiu

Jialin Qiu is a doctoral student in Materials Science and Engineering at University of Houston, under the advisement of Dr. Megan Robertson and Ramanan Krishnamoorti. She previously worked with Dr. Kevin Cavicchi and Bryan Vogt in Department of Polymer Science and Polymer Engineering at University of Akron, where she obtained her master degree. She grew up in China and gained her bachelor degree in Materials Science and Engineering at Donghua University. Her research interests include thermodynamic interactions in polydiene and polyolefin blends; structure-property relationships in multicomponent materials; the impact of saturation on phase behavior. She also serves as the president of Society of Plastic Engineers-Student Chapter at University of Houston.
