Alkegen brings together two of the world’s leading specialty materials companies (Unifrax + Lydall) to create one new, innovation-driven leader focused on battery technologies, filtration media, and insulation and sealing materials. Alkegen’s mission is to deliver products that enable the world to breathe easier, live greener, and go further than ever before. John works in the Industrial Thermal Management (ITM) & Specialty Insulation department helping customers save energy and reduce emissions by providing innovative heat management solutions to a wide variety of industrial applications. John has worked on all aspects of high temperature insulating wool, with experience in research & development, manufacturing, and application engineering. John graduated from Alfred University with a Bachelor’s degree in Ceramic Sciences and Engineering and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Engineering Management from Penn State University.
