John Le Blanc

John LeBlanc is a Staff Vice President and Senior Engineering Technical Specialist within the Chief Engineer’s Group of FM Global. John has been with FM Global for 38 years. John is responsible for the development and updating of FM Global’s Property Loss Prevention Data Sheets on ignitable liquid handling/storage, aerosol products, explosion protection systems, and provides support to all the special hazard subject matter experts who handle combustible dust, flammable gas, hazardous chemical and special protection system standards. John received a BS in Chemical Engineering from Case Western Reserve University and a MS in Fire Protection Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute. He serves on eleven National Fire Protection Association committees including flammable liquids (30), aerosol products (30B), finishing processes (33/34), explosion protection systems (67/68/69), and correlating committees for NFPA 13 combustible dusts.
