I am originally from Tamil Nadu in South India. I did my PhD in the Sibley School of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at Cornell University. Working with my thesis advisor prof. Donald Koch I modelled the impact of turbulence, non-continuum hydrodynamics, and droplet inertia on rain formation. After finishing in 2019 I joined prof. Juan de Pablo's group at the Pritzker School of Molecular Engineering in the University of Chicago. Here I focused on enhancing power generation in nanopores. This project, which I will be presenting on, is part of the Advanced Materials for Energy-Water Systems Center at Argonne National Laboratory.
