Jorge Mok
Jorge Mok is a Ph.D. candidate from the Department of Chemical Engineering at Rice University, where he is currently working in the laboratory of Professor Rafael Verduzco. During his graduate studies, Jorge implemented computational and experimental methods to design and synthesize block-copolymers additives to intelligently control the phase behavior of polymer/small-molecule emulsions. For his research, Jorge received various awards, including the Nettie S. Autrey Fellowship, which is awarded to one student every year at Rice University. Also, he was selected for the 2016 Graduate Polymer Research Award and for the 2015 Electronics and Photonics Graduate Student Award, both from AIChE.
