Joyce Chen

Prof. Chen graduated with PhD at Cornell University and joined Pritzker school of molecular engineering and Ben May department for cancer research at the University of Chicago as assistant professor in 2020 as a K99/R00 awardee. Chen lab has been developing in vitro, ex vivo to in vivo modeling system, using the cell resources derived from pluripotent stem cells or adult stem cells, in combination with advancements of regenerative technology, cellular and molecular engineering. This methodology opens a new avenue to directly model and study human diseases “in a dish”.
