Juan Rivera-Diaz

Juan is from Cartagena Colombia. He finished his bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering at the Universidad del Atlantico, Barranquilla Colombia in 2020. There, he conducted research on the use of nanoporous chromium catalysts for the aerobic oxidation of cyclohexane to cyclohexanol and cyclohexanone. In 2021 he began his doctorate at the University of Puerto Rico Mayaguez campus, under the supervision of Doctor David Suleiman. He is searching for new polymeric nanocomposite membranes for the separation of urea from water for the International Space Station.
