Kelly Yorke

Kelly is a Scientist on the Skin Care Brands team at Unilever, and is completing her Masters Degree in Chemical Engineering with a specialization in Cosmetic Engineering from Manhattan College. She spent the last year working for Dr. Samiul Amin in the Cosmetic Engineering and Biopharma Laboratory, focused on two different research projects. Her work on sulfate-free surfactant systems, in collaboration with Colgate-Palmolive, was recently published in the International Journal of Cosmetic Science. Additionally, her research on a conditioning shampoo system containing hyaluronic acid and a sustainable surfactant was published by MDPI Cosmetics and filed for a provisional patent. As a relatively new professional in the Cosmetic and Consumer Goods Industry, Kelly is looking forward to contributing her new perspective on influential brands.
