Kendall Taft

Kendall Taft obtained his undergraduate degree in geology from the University of Illinois, and his M.S. degree in geology from the University of Wyoming. He worked as a petroleum geologist for a major integrated oil company from 1997 to 2020 in Houston, Texas. He focused mainly on the development and production of existing oil fields, planning infill drillwells based upon 3D and 4D seismic in mainly offshore fields. In 2021, Kendall joined the Illinois State Geology Survey, and he has worked on a number of US Department of Energy CarbonSAFE CO2 sequestration projects awarded to the University of Illinois.
