Ken Rueter is President and CEO of UCOR, an Amentum-led partnership with Jacobs. As the Department of Energy's (DOE) cleanup contractor for the Oak Ridge Reservation, UCOR is successfully eliminating hazards and reducing risks at the East Tennessee Technology Park (ETTP), Y-12 Nuclear Security Complex, and Oak Ridge National Laboratory. Under Ken’s oversight, UCOR recently completed the historic cleanup of ETTP four years ahead of schedule and at a $500 million savings to taxpayers. Ken led UCOR to earning DOE Star status and Legacy of Stars in its Voluntary Protection Program. In 2019, EHS Today magazine named UCOR as one of America's 16 safest companies. Ken was the 2016 recipient of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers' Management Division Award, and in 2019, the National Safety Council recognized him as a CEO who "Gets It." Ken holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Cleveland State University.
