Lan Ying Jiang
Currently Professor at the School of Metallurgy and Environment, Central South University in China, Dr. JIANG Lan Ying has worked from 2005 to 2009 at the Nanoscience and Nanotechnology Initiative (NNI) of National University of Singapore (NUS), and carried out research in membrane science and technology as a Research Fellow. From 2002 to 2005, she was awarded the research scholarship to pursue her doctoral studies on “Membrane Formation and Characterization for Gas Separation” at the Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering of NUS and got her PhD in 2006. Dr. JIANG received her B.Sc. degree (1997) from the Department of Environmental Science, Wuhan University, China. Her overall research interest is the science and engineering of membrane-based separations and their applications. The current and upcoming effort is concentrated on membrane formation, polymer blending and membrane surface modification for applications in metallurgical and pharmaceutical industries.
