Lina Rueda

Dr. Lina Rueda is the Research & Development Manager for the Qatar Shell Research and Technology Center (QSRTC) in Doha. She has over 20 years of experience in the energy sector and has held multiple positions in Shell’s R&D, Downstream and Deepwater organizations. Her prior experience covered project execution and new technology deployments for offshore assets in the Gulf of Mexico, Trinidad and Tobago, and Brazil. At QSRTC, Dr. Rueda leads multiple R&D projects focused on the development and implementation of technologies that support Qatar’s National Vision 2030, as well as supporting Qatar’s role as the world’s largest liquefied natural gas (LNG) exporter and the gas to liquids (GTL) capital of the world.
