Linas Mockus
Currently Dr. Mockus is a Senior Research Scientist at Purdue University where he leads diverse research projects on the application of Quality by Design (QbD) principles to product and process development and scale up; modeling of pharmacokinetics / pharmacodynamics data using Bayesian techniques. Previously Dr. Mockus was employed at Allergan where he was managing validation projects; and by Pharmacia/Monsanto where he was leading simulation/modeling and business system development. In 1996, Dr. Mockus graduated from Purdue University with a PhD in Chemical Engineering. In 1991, he obtained his PhD in Computer Science from Moscow Physical-Technical Institute. Dr. Linas Mockus has authored multiple papers and co-authored The Monograph on Bayesian Approach to Discrete Optimization.
