Lisa Hall is an Associate Professor at the Ohio State University in the Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering. She earned her PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2009, advised by Kenneth Schweizer, and her undergraduate degrees in Chemical Engineering and Chemistry at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology. She was then a postdoctoral associate in the Department of Computational Materials Science and Engineering at Sandia National Laboratories before being hired on to OSU as the H.C. “Slip” Slider Assistant Professor in 2012. The Hall research group applies statistical mechanical theories and molecular dynamics simulations to investigate structural, thermodynamic, and dynamic phenomena in polymeric materials.
