Makoto Nakaya

MAKOTO NAKAYA received his B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Electrical Electricity Engineering, 1984,1986. He jointed Yokogawa Electric Corp. in 1986. He has been engaged in the application of simulator at the semiconductor device-process and the plant operation field. His current research interests include nonlinear control systems, chemical batch plant modeling, cybersecurity technology for industrial control systems and practical feedback-control education for plant operators and technical staffs. He won the OHM Technology Award in 2003. He received the technology award from the Society of Instrument and Control Engineers in 2013. He is a part-time lecturer of “Super Smart Society Promotion Consortium” at Tokyo Institute of Technology in 2020.
