Marcello Padaro

M. Sc. Marcello Padaro is a Ph.D. student in the group for Industrial Chemistry and Reaction Engineering of Prof. Marcel Liauw at the “Institute für Technische und Makromolekulare Chemie” (ITMC) at RWTH Aachen University in Germany. Before he studied Chemistry also at the RWTH Aachen University and did his bachelor thesis in 2010 with the topic “Optimization of a continuous setup for the synthesis of biogenic lubricants”. In 2012 he did his Master Thesis with the topic “Quantitative Composition-Activity Relationship of biogenic lubricants” and started his Ph.D.. There he is working in the fields of “Pour point calculation and depression for fuels and lubricants” and “Batch-to-continuous protocol – a guideline for lab-scale chemistry”.
