Marola W. Issa, Callahan Fellowship Award recipient, is a second year PhD student in the department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at Case Western Reserve University. Marola works with Dr. Christopher Wirth on the measurement of transient rheology changes and visualizations of flow fields in falling thin films. Marola Obtained her B.S in Chemical Engineering from Cleveland State University in 2020. During her undergraduate career, Marola was awarded The Ohio Space Grant (NASA) and Undergraduate Student Research Award (USRA) which allowed her to study the influence of nanoparticles on the dynamics of active colloids.
