Mike Brooks

Mike is Sr. Business Consultant at AspenTech; an expert on Asset Performance Management. E was previously President and COO at Mtell. He has 25+ years at Exxon, Chevron, and start-ups in process operations, planning and scheduling, control, and industrial IT systems. At Chevron Technology Ventures he invested in early-stage technology companies and held board positions. He has driven teams to develop IT technology in process historians, supervisory control, batch, manufacturing intelligence, dashboards, and user interfaces. He’s done four previous IT start-ups. Mike invented a manufacturing operations solution and founded INDX Software to commercialize the product. Earlier, he was Director of Products and Technology at Wonderware. Mike was also deeply involved in integration and inter-operability and led open standards requirements at the OpenO&M initiative.
