Mingfei Zhao

Dr. Mingfei Zhao got her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Energy and Power Engineering from Shandong University in China. She obtained her Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the State University of New York at Binghamton with Prof. Xin Yong in 2019. Then she has joined Prof. Andrew L. Ferguson’s group as a postdoctoral scholar at the University of Chicago. Her research interests include using computational modeling to understand and control hierarchical colloidal/biomolecular self-assembly across scales, with a particular focus on all-atom/coarse-grained simulations of hierarchical peptoid self-assembly.
