Mohamed Khaled Mostafa is a full-time faculty member at Badr University in Cairo, Egypt. His doctoral research focused on water resource management by developing a river model for use in simulating water quality and quantity in the Nile River delta and in managing water quantity and quality in affected areas. He has more than 60 total publications, as well as 3 book chapters in the environmental field. His research activities mainly focus on preparing and using nanotechnology for industrial and domestic wastewater treatment. He received an international patent for preparing nano-aluminum at room temperature at low cost to be used for different environmental and industrial applications. He is also working as an environmental Expert at Waste Management Department, Chemonics Egypt Consultants. He is responsible for managing environmental projects with a focus on technology assessment, wastewater treatment, pollution prevention/abatement and municipal (organic and inorganic), medical and electronic waste management.
