Mutiu Amosa

Dr. Mutiu Kolade Amosa, FNSChE, is an award-winning Research, Development, and Implementation (RD&I) expert having broad expertise in Chemical and Environmental Engineering with work experiences from Nigeria, Malaysia, South Africa and Vietnam. Mutiu is currently a Principal Regulatory Officer at the Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission (NUPRC) Headquarters, Abuja, and the National Improved Oil Recovery Centre (NIORC), National Oil & Gas Excellence Centre, NUPRC Annex, Lagos, Nigeria. Dr. Amosa was previously an NRF/DST SARChl Research Fellow in Sustainable Process Engineering at the School of Chemical & Metallurgical Engineering, University of the Witwatersrand (Wits), Johannesburg. With his over 2 decades of distinctively novel contributions in the areas of improved oil recovery; carbon capture, storage & utilization; less common separation technologies; sustainable process systems engineering; process development & design; materials synthesis & development; and environmental process engineering, his research outputs have received many citations with an h-index of 13 (SCOPUS).
