Natalia Cano

Natalia Cano is Ph.D. in Sustainability Assessment and M.Sc. in Environmental Science. Dr. Cano possesses advanced knowledge and experience to lead and perform multidisciplinary research aimed at solving challenges related to sustainable development. As lead researcher, she has acquired key experience by developing methods and tools to assess the sustainability performance of chemical processes and supply chains, as well as life cycle assessment, emergy and exergy analysis. In the last year, she has gained experience in the public sector as project leader in the development of sustainable strategies for technology and knowledge transfer. Natalia has had academic stays and collaborations with Delft University of Technology, the Netherlands, Sustainable Minerals Institute, and University of Queensland, Australia. The Center for Environmental Research (Helmholtz Center for Environmental Research), Germany. She currently is postdoctoral researcher in Ghent University and has participated in the publication of scientific articles, scientific congresses, conferences and webinars..
