Niall Mitchell is Principal Consultant and Practice Director of the Active Ingredient modules of gPROMS Formulated Products at Siemens Industry Software Ltd. gPROMS FormulatedProducts is an Advanced process modelling tool for the integrated digital design of robust formulated products and their manufacturing processes. He received his PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Limerick in 2012 concerning the modelling of crystallization processes, and a BEng in Mechanical Engineering, also from the University of Limerick in 2008. In 2012, Niall joined PSE and currently leads the development and application of the gPROMS FormulatedProducts software tool, for the advanced process modelling of crystallization and other processes, to a wide range of industrial applications.
