Nikolaus Vollmer

name is Nikolaus Vollmer, I am a PhD fellow at the Technical University of Denmark. My current research deals with the conceptual value chain design of biorefinery systems. I work on the use ofhigh-fidelity and surrogate models of different types to be applied in superstructure and simulation-based optimization for the process synthesis and design. A further speciality in our group is the use of Monte Carlo methods, especially within uncertainty and sensitivity analysis.
