Mr. Okechukwu Vincent Dickson, born in Onitsha, Nigeria, is a 3rd-year PhD student in Process and Environmental Engineering at the RAPSODEE Research Center, IMT Mines Albi, France. He studied Industrial Chemistry at the University of Benin, Nigeria and worked for two years as a Production Executive at Beloxxi Industries Limited Nigeria. Awarded the Petroleum Technology Development Fund Nigeria Scholarship, he pursued a Master’s in valorisation of biomass and waste at IMT Mines Albi. He interned at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, Germany, at the Institute of Catalysis Research and Technology, in the department of Thermochemical Conversion of Biomass. Subsequently, he joined Prony Resources New Caledonia as a Doctorate student. His research aims to optimize nickel production and understand autoclave encrustation mechanisms. He has presented at four conferences with 3 publications. Okechukwu aims to leverage his expertise in research and development to promote environmental stewardship and efficiency in his future career.
