Ricardo Lopez

Ricardo Lopez is a Principal Risk Consultant with more than 20 years of experience in civil engineering and about 6 years in technical safety and risk analysis related to onshore and offshore petrochemical facilities. He has been involved with several key industry players and major oil and gas companies located in Asia, Australia, the Caribbean, the United States and other locations around the world, and has led efforts on many common-cause failure studies for LNG plants; reliability, availability, and maintainability (RAM) analyses for onshore and offshore plants; well control financial risk for offshore drilling operations using Monte Carlo simulations; building site assessments of onshore gas processing plants; and quantitative risk analyses (QRA) projects.
