Rich MacNguyen

Richard MacNguyen has over 12 years of engineering and consulting experience in process safety, risk management, consequence modeling, and quantitative risk assessments for offshore and onshore facilities. He focuses on utilizing, developing, and implementing risk models to help clients solve problems in process safety and reducing risk associated with hazardous facilities and operations. Utilizing industry recognized analytical and computational fluid dynamics (CFD) models, Mr. MacNguyen is able to perform consequence and risk modeling to support clients with improving process safety at their facilities. He is well-versed in a variety of process safety modeling software packages, such as DNV Phast, RMP*Comp, and FLACS. He is well-versed PSM regulation in the US, EPA tools and software, and codes and standards referenced in regulation.
