Richard Carter

Richard is an experienced and passionate Functional Safety Engineer with over 12 years' experience in Process Safety Management. He has assisted over 1,000 individuals, in some of the largest operating and EPC companies across the USA and Canada, with facilitation of Process Hazard Analysis studies and with training in Process Safety Management. Richard is passionate and enthusiastic about understanding and preventing hazardous incidents to ensure that everyone gets to go home safely to their friends and family. Since the same types of hazardous incidents happen in a wide variety of industries, he believes it is essential to maximize cross-sector learning to improve the safety performance of all sectors.
