Mr. Johnson's entire 40 year career has focused on process safety. He was lead contract author of five CCPS Guidelines books and prepared AIChE Academy's eLearning courses on HAZOP Studies, LOPA, and chemical reactivity hazards. Mr. Johnson teaches AIChE Academy courses and has taught Chemical Process Safety at The Ohio State University. He is an AIChE Fellow and past chair of the Safety & Health Division.
