Ross Ransom

Ross is a fourth year PhD student in the Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at Tulane University. His research at Tulane has focused on the synthesis and characterization of novel zeolites. Additionally, Ross is currently studying these zeolites as catalysts in industrially relevant reactions, specifically for selective catalytic reduction (SCR) of NOx compounds. Prior to attending Tulane, Ross worked as a Process Development Engineer at Abbvie, Inc where he led the Process Analytical Technology (PAT) lab and was the lead engineer on a late stage small molecule compound in drug substance. Ross earned his BS/BA in Geophysical Sciences and Chemistry from the University of Chicago and MS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
