Sabbie Miller

Sabbie Miller is a PhD candidate in Structural Engineering at Stanford University studying under Professor Sarah Billington. Sabbie's research focuses on environmental impact assessment, mechanical property characterization, and modeling of long-term properties for biobased composites. The specific types of biobased composites she is investigating in her dissertation research are continuously reinforced natural fiber composites with a bacterially synthesized polymer matrix that have the potential to have a self feeding carbon-cycle.
