Saikat Chakraborty

Dr. Saikat Chakraborty is an Associate Professor of Chemical Engineering at Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur in India, with joint affiliations at the institute’s School of Energy Science & Engineering, and the PK Sinha Center for Bioenergy & Renewables. He did his PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Houston, USA, and his post-doctoral research on Biomedical Engineering at the University of Texas Medical School at Houston.His areas of research include bioenergy (lignocellulosic and algal biofuels), biomedical engineering, and chemical reaction engineering.
