Sampath A. Karunarathne

Sampath Karunarathne was born in Sri Lanka. He graduated from the University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka, in March 2007 with a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture. After graduation he worked in the Department of Agricultural Engineering, University of Peradeniya as an assistant lecturer. Then he worked as a research assistant in Solid Waste Management Research Unit, University of Peradeniya. He enrolled in the Biological Engineering graduate program at the University of Maine in summer 2009. Currently he is working as a graduate research assistant in the Forest Bioproducts Research Institute (FBRI), University of Maine. Sampath Karunarathne is a candidate for the Master of Science degree in Biological Engineering from The University of Maine in December, 2011.
