Shane Kosir is currently in the second year of his master’s in chemical engineering at the University of Dayton. He is involved in research with Dr. Sarwan Sandhu related to the electrochemical performance evaluation and heat transfer modeling of lithium-ion batteries. He has also been involved in research with Dr. Joshua Heyne related to high-performance jet fuel optimization and sustainable aviation fuel prescreening and materials compatibility. After graduation, Shane will pursue his PhD in chemical engineering at Washington State University in the lab of Dr. Yong Wang.
