Dr.Shu Xu obtained his PhD from the Department of Chemical Engineering at the University of Texas at Austin in 2015, and worked at Purdue University as a postdoctoral fellow afterwards. He joined Emerson as an applied research engineer in 2017. For the past eight years, he has concentrated his work in process modeling, advanced process control and optimization, and data analytics in process industries.
