Simon Jones has 25+ years of international experience in the chemical, oil & gas and refining industries. Simon leads the Operational Risk Management consulting practice at Sphera, where he works with energy and chemical industry clients to plan, design and deliver optimized, technology-enabled processes for risk management and frontline work control. Simon’s background is in process safety – he holds an engineering Master’s degree in Process Safety and Loss Prevention from Sheffield University in the UK and is actively involved in the Center for Chemical Process Safety (CCPS) as a representative on the global Technical Steering Committee and in the Center's European regional network.
