Stella Manning

Stella graduated from Georgia Tech in 2012 with a degree in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering and started full time with LyondellBasell straight out of school. Since joining LYB, Stella has held several Process Engineering roles in Polymers and Hydrocarbons technologies. In 2018, she got the opportunity be a part of the construction, commissioning, and startup of a first-of-its-kind green field project to build a new HDPE plant called Hyperzone, as a Process Engineer. In this role, Stella discovered her passion for Process Safety and went on to become the Process Safety Manager for the Bayport Complex. Currently Stella is a Corporate Process Safety Manager with responsibilities over LyondellBasell manufacturing sites in the Americas. She is the owner of the company’s Process Hazard Analysis, Process Risk Management, and Safety Critical Equipment Operational Excellence Standards.”
