Susan Bershad is a Senior Chemical Engineer in the Industrial and Chemical Engineering division at NFPA. She is staff liaison for the Combustible Dust project as well as the Industrial and Medical Gases, Hydrogen, and Alternative Vehicular Fuels technical committees. She holds a B.S. and M.S. in Chemical Engineering and is a registered professional engineer in the state of Massachusetts. Prior to joining NFPA, she held a variety of positions in environmental, health, and safety management in the chemical processing industry, with a focus on environmental compliance and process safety management.
