Syed K. Ahmed

Syed K. Ahmed Mr. Syed K Ahmed is currently finishing his PhD under Professor Donald J. Chmielewski at the Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT). He qualified and entered the program directly from studying chemical engineering in his undergraduate at IIT. His areas of expertise are modeling, control, and optimization and his research currently involves applying that to fuel cells and hybrid fuel cell vehicles. He has given presentations at AIChE’s National Meeting in November and a tAmerican Control Conferences. He is currently published his hydration model of the fuel cell membrane in the Journal of Power Sources.
