Tofigh Sayahi
Dr. Kerry Kelly is a professional engineer, an Assistant Professor of Chemical Engineering at the University of Utah. She has a PhD in Environmental Engineering and a BS in Chemical Engineering, and she just completed 8 years of service on Utah’s Air Quality Board. She currently serves on the State Air Quality Policy Board. Her research focuses on three areas: (1) linking combustion particle physicochemical properties to toxicological endpoints, (2) understanding the connections between energy, air quality and health, and (3) using low-cost air-quality sensing to understand local-scale, air quality differences, engage students, and understand and improve sensor performance. She has more than 45 peer-reviewed publications.
