Usman Hamid

I am Usman Hamid, a fourth year Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Chemical Engineering at Texas Tech University. I have extensively explored the gasification and reforming processes to boost hydrogen production. I have developed a rigorous, robust, and thermodynamically consistent generalized Langmuir (gL) model to estimate multicomponent adsorption equilibria. I am conducting experimental studies on liquid adsorption equilibria, kinetics, and adsorption columns to develop state of art thermodynamic and kinetic models for commercial simulators.
