Victoria Shields

Graduate from University of Central Lancashire (UCLan) with First Class BSc Honours degree in Chemistry. Currently completing my PhD at the University of Sheffield, whilst working as a technical author at Amentum. PhD thesis topic is researching precious metal recovery (rhodium and platinum) via the combination of Deep Eutectic Solvents and ion exchange resins from a alumina MoMO (Metal on Metal Oxide) spent catalyst. My undergraduate dissertation project at the UCLan was focused on the recovery of Caesium from Spent Nuclear fuel via ion exchange.
