Vikash Vashisth

Vikash is a Ph.D. scholar at the Department of Chemical Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee, India. He is working with Prof. Vimal Kumar in the area of high shear mixing. His research area is nanoparticle de-agglomeration, computational fluid dynamics, high shear mixing, and rheology of complex fluids. In his Ph.D. work, he has developed a novel design of a high shear mixer, which is comprised of tilted jets/holes in the stator, for the deep penetration in the mixing vessel. He has published several publications in peer-reviewed international journals in particular, Chemical Engineering Science, Ultrasonics Sonochemistry, and Chemical Engineering Research & Design. He has exceptional command over computational as well as experimental work.
