Viviana Monje-Galvan

I started my undergraduate studies at Montgomery College, MD and then transfer to the University of Maryland-College Park where I completed my BS, MS, and PhD degrees in Chemical Engineering. I completed my postdoctoral training at the University of Chicago, and will be starting my research lab at the University at Buffalo, this January 2021. My research focus in on membrane modeling and how lipid-protein interactions affect molecular dynamics at the cell membrane interface. I am originally from La Paz-Bolivia, but have lived in the US for over 14 years.
