Xiaolin Chen graduated from Iowa State University with a Ph.D. degree in Mechanical Engineering in May 2022. Now Xiaolin Chen is working at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) as a Postdoctoral Researcher. Her research focuses are sustainable transportation fuel production and waste-to-energy based on lignocellulosic biomass conversions using technologies including hydroprocessing, solvent liquefaction, and non-thermal plasma. Her research goal is to fully leverage the characteristics of the waste feedstocks and maximize the product values.
