Yuan Zhou

After graduated from University of Science and Technology of China, at University of Michigan, I made an important and hard decision to do simulation research, moving out from my comfortable zone and the frame of previous work. Barriers are obvious that I don’t have computational background and training on coding. However, I appreciate the choice I made and the acceptance of my advisor, Prof. Glotzer, sincerely. The power push me forward is that one of the Prof. Larson’s in-class stories: Brownian motion was mathematically described by Einstein. It is named after Brown because he did the science in the purest way -observing and describing the world as best as he can.
